Saturday May 26th will be the next scheduled Tournament and will be held at the Ledgeview Golf Club located in Abbotsford, 35997 McKee Road. We have 21 confirmed players as of Sunday May 20th, confirm your spot early.
This will be our first outing at this location for most of the players so we are expecting a fun time for all.
Surrey Golf Club hosted our May 19th outing with a field of 24 players entered. With the warm and dry conditions scoring was expected to be low, however, the hard and fast greens proved to be tricky for most, nine players posted rounds of par or better.
Willie Ducay recorded 5 pars and 2 birdies enroute to a round of net 70, taking the top spot in the "A" Division by 1 shot over Ryan Isaac and Mark Pitman. Jun Tan brought his "A" game recording 6 pars on his way to a final score of net 66 edging out Jay Isaac for the title in the "B" Division. This was the first wins of the year for both Willie and Jun.
Kp winners for the day were, Rene Trinidad, Cholo Cebrero, Fred Marasigan and Laurie Jewell.
Mark Pitman increased his lead in the Player of the Year race picking up 6 points thanks to his 4th place tie, his lead is now 8.5 points over Robin Perrin and 11 points up on Ryan Isaac.
This week was also our first of two Team Events scheduled for the year. The team of Menchie Tan, Nick Asistio, Mark Pitman and Gary Perrin took the top spot with a combined Team score of 81.
